Some news about my world tour trip. Indeed, I finally decided of the final itinerary, more or less. I say more or less, because as already argued earlier, i don’t want to give myself too much imperatives, in order to give to this trip much more flexibility, and i’m also reflecting about making some concessions. Today, I had the opportunity to talk about my project with one of my classmate at ESG, and who knows well the south of Asia : he spent a year working in Bangkok. His recommandations were very usefull, and my stay in Malaisia could be shortened, to the benefit of some destinations such as Vietnam, Cambodge ou encore le Laos.

Here is the final trip :

Laura and Julien were just married when they decided to leave France for 8 months. Their world tour included Polynesia, Australia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Japan, China, Tibet and India…A wonderful trip.

Eve-Laure and Michaël had a more adventurous angle. Their travel had been planned for a full year, like mine. Their blog is called Au Fil du Monde and is full of helpful tips and fascinating stories throughout their amazing itinerary.

Lili and Ced tell us their 9 months story around the world. This young couple had often updated their blog quite often during the trip. It’s a good example to follow.

Sarita is a french girl, and has recently engaged as a volunteer in Mexico…this only means one thing: another globetrotter to follow !

More precisions about my coming trip, with a serious reconsideration of the flights. In one hand from a financial point of view, and in another hand because it is obvious that it will be more benefical for me to “leg it” (bus, train, walk,…). Indeed, according to different feedbacks that i founded over the internet (combined with advices from family and friends), it seems that it is more suitable for meet people.

I finally asked for a new estimate at Connaisseurs du Voyage and also spent time calling both alliances SkyTeam and Star Alliance. Next week, i planned to visit each of these alliances to establish other estimates, and to have a better overview of the different possibilities. More news coming soon !
