It is now official, I finally got my international driver’s license ! I won’t go into details for such an accomplishment at the Prefecture of Lyon (1 hour of waiting the first time i went there, until I realised that I forgot my ID in Paris, then 1 hour and a half the second time) for only five minutes of paperwork.

I recently spoke about the launching of the spanish version, and i’m very proud of telling you that a vietnamese one is now available ! Once again, many thanks to a friend from mon MBA program (Vietnamese of course) for her help.

The countdown has started, this is now a reality for me. Since this memorable day of December when i took the decision to travel the whole world, a lot of things have passed.

As a consequence, I would like to describe the feelings i have 200 days before the departure about the things that have already been done, those that i still have to do, and especially what i’m feeling in the in the depths of myself. If i choose to get a fix on my project 6 months before to leave France, it’s also to allow myself to follow the evolution of my apprehensions faced with such a trip, and to keep a record of my thoughts.

I recently told you that i was working on the spanish version of the website, and it is a real pleasure for me to announce you that the spanish version is now online !

This version will allow to the persons met on my way (mostly in Central and South America) to easily follow the rest of my trip, and also to maximize the online blog’s promotion while reaching more people…

Regularly, I choose to share with you my discovery of globetrotters blogs. The first focus is then dedicated to Thomas’s blog.

Why starting with it ? Simply because his world tour, from September 2006 to September 2007, is a project that is very close to mine : a solo departure, mostly by feet ( he choose the hitch-hiking solution), and also a “flash that I already experienced…He’s explaining it on his blog : “…And then the project finally became a evidence , a “flash” : this is an incontrovertible thing to do, and it’s now or never !”
