It was a real hot challenge between both stickers and the winner is the rounded one with more than 50 votes (I have to be quick if I want to send it to the printer).

So here is finally the official sticker i will stick everywhere in this world. It can help to promote the blog or even have problems with it (Im joking Mum’ :roll: ).Thanks to all the voters.

Romain Goodbye Party

I can’t leave France without a crazy goodbye party, can I ?

 

The  21 of November, there will be my official party at Le Palatin ("Le Palat’" for most os us). Huge party with a Live DJ all night long, gifts, and cheap drinks (2 € for a drink, how can we do better ?). I’ll present the project during sessions thanks to a wireless access and an overhead projector.

 

If you’re living in Lyon, or even somewhere, I would be pleased to see you a 7pm for the before party (cocktail). Be carreful, you must be disguised ! Be creative and you’ll have some presents from the bar ! You can invite your friends subscribing here for the party on Facebook !

 

You want some flyers ? Of course you can have ones. Just be cool with the environment and don’t put them where they don’t have to be ! Contact me and I’ll send you some.

  • 1 Camera Lumix 12 Mega Pixels
  • 2 SD cards 4 Go (for the camera)
  • 1 Memory stick 4 Go (for the camcorder)
  • 1 Olympus digital voice recorder (for “in live” podcasts)

And what about visas ?

Some news about my visas…I’m supposed to have a lot of forms to fill but I realized I will be able to ask most of them during the trip (make sure you bring some pictures of you).According to some globetrotters, it costs less and everything can be done easily (especially in the following countries : Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaisia) . Be carreful with these 3 others : India, China and Russia. I’m still looking for some informations about them, in order to know if it’s possible to get visas from a ambassady (if i apply for these visas right now, they won’t be valid anymore when I’ll need them). About Russia, I can now confirm that it is possible to ask for a via in Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) for 100 dollars (price that is including the visa and the voucher), but I’ll have to justify my health insurance and hotel or hostel reservation. I’ll deal with LegendTour since the office is in Mongolia. About Chinese and Indian ambassadies, this is a real nightmare to get the right person on the phone..

Today, it’s only 30 before the real departure. Things are getting hot and I’m currently working on a new version of the newsletter (I lost the original version in a stupid computer crash few months ago and I had to rebuild it from scratch) and it’s almost ready to be send. If you want it, you can directly get the newsletter by email. One already asked me the question and this article is a good opportunity to answer : I’m using a very good emailing software (SendBlaster) to create newsletters. I'm a 23 years old young graduate, living in Lyon, France and who is preparing for a 12 months trip around the world.
