Last Thursday, I’ve been invited to the launching of the brand new programme called Authentik Aventures for the TV Channel. This meeting took place at the Fox French headquarters and I had the opportunity with some other bloggers to see the first episode (dedicated to the main Andean Road also called the Qhapaq Ñan) of this TV programme that aims at following real globetrotters in their adventures. The way the movies are shot allows you to really feel that you’re also travelling with them and I was definitely amazed by such great experiences. It was very interesting to meet Laurent Granier and Megan Son who both left for 3 years to travel 6000km by feet all along this road (from Colombia to Chile). Here are some pictures of the party.

While some people just came back from holidays, some others are leaving ! Till then, I advise you to follow in live the first impressions of real globetrotters who just left, or should leave very soon !
Elodie et Orianne left France the 20 of August to travel the whole Australia in 3 months.
Alex et Julie left the 17 of August to live their own world tour in 13 months.
Nathalie et Rémi will leave the 3 of September for a one year trip around the word too.
Moreover, in my travel preparation, I love to spend some time following other travelers stories. If you did not see the blog’s selection in the sidebar, here are some of my favorite websites…They are currently travelling the world :
Vincent AKA Toukano, will take you from Australia to India, from Nepal to Indonesia…and it’s not over !
Alexandre, a french globetrotter who I’m following since the begining of its travel in April. Its stories are just awesome (but unfortunately in french..but don’t desesperate and read the next link)
Christine, an American journalist with a very special philosophy : “Quit your job, travel the world !”

Today I would like to talk about a world tour project led by Alex et Julie, two french globetrotters who are leaving very soon (exactly 4 days !) for a one year trip around the world. This project is very close to mine since they argue that it is all about a “personal quest to discover the world, people, colours, traditions and landscapes”.This trip will take them in 14 countries in 365 days and you’ll be able to follow their adventure in few days leur blog live from Lima in Peru, where they decided to start their uncredible year. I wish them a very good trip and here is a video interview (in French) from them led by Web TV Nice.

Through my search on how to make a world tour, I have the opportunity to find some really nice things, even amazing ones. Raphaël de Casabianca and Antoine Delaplace are two young french men who left in 2003 for a one year trip around the world. Be patient, the full version is coming these days (1hr movie).

Today, I’m going to introduce a very trendy activity called “CouchSurfing”. What is it exactly ?
This expression recently appeared thanks to the openning of a new service nammed as the CouchSurfing project. Created in 2004, it a non-profit association, which aims at helping travelers from all around the world to meet each others. More precisely, it gives the globetrotter an opportunity to offer a couch (or a bed,…something that allow you to sleep !) for one or several days to another people travelling around. The association’s motto ? “The world is smaller than yoy think“. Then you probably better understand the spirit… (Read more…)
I'm a 23 years old young graduate, living in Lyon, France and who is preparing for a 12 months trip around the world. The purpose of this travel is to fully comprehend the international environment by looking through different people’s eyes. Together we will be learning about each countries values and beliefs, fears and dreams, worries and concerns through pictures, people’s stories and my experiences. Hopefully, this will bring a new point of view, a new perspective over the world’s view.
